You can remove languages by editing the languages array directly in /application/config/config.php like you said. This is were the language list is made from.

If I delete translation directorys there is a problem because application doesn’t find certain languages. I modified $config[‘available_languages’] to contain only 1 language but it still looks for other translations somehow. O can’t find out why. Please help 🙂
